What is Reflexology? And How does it work?
Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands, and ears, that relate to every organd and gland in your body. By using only the thumbs and fingers on the reflexes areas the nerve endings are stimulated reducing tension and stress allowing the body to remove blockages and wastes that may create disease. Stimulating these areas will break down the congestion and help the body to expel the toxic wastes.
How many of you suffer from: headaches, cold feet and hands, numbness in the toes, sciatica pain, stress and tension in the neck and shoulders, have problems sleeping, low energy and enthusiasm? If you answer’ yes’ to one of the above reflexology can help you.
Did you know that 75% of today’s disease are due to stress and tension in the body. Tension is likened to a tourniquet around the body’s systems and this tightening leads to serious consequences over a period of time.
How does reflexology work?
The practitioner works with only the thumbs and fingers using a series of reflexing techniques, using only thumbs and fingers on the soles of the feet, palms of the hands and massaging the ears. as the client is on a massage table or in a recliner chair. As these reflex areas are worked the body begins to relax , mind chatter is calmed , you may yawn or even go to sleep.
